Loved it.

Awesome, this is a cartoon with style. Oh, and I personally loved the music.

Atta boy

Internaught was the best.

Did I spell his name right? Anyway, that was great. I'm sorry, this is the first one I've seen (I know, I should see 1 and 2 first probably) but this was really great. Very funny, very wacky. That scene with the MSN messanger was really good.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

It's Internaut...as in astronaut. Thanks for watching

Continue this series.

As far as first time sprite movies go, that was quite good; a little short, which could be the reason for it not having a higher score, but still good. I'll tell ya one thing, Mario may not be as popular as he was about 20 years ago, but he certainly seems to rule the flash portal. One thing I don't get though is why you never seem to see a sprite movie with voices. Perhaps it has something to do with the program you use to make sprites or something, but I'm really not very good with computers, so I don't know. Perhaps it could all be an amazing coincidence.

swordsman21 responds:

Actually, I don't dovoiced becasue i have no microphone attached to my computer. Thanks for the good review!

Clever way to disguise a Mario Blooper reel.

In my eyes, this is another Mario Bloopers video, but at least it was different from the rest of them, so that's not really my problem. My big problem was with the overall quality of the cartoon. The sprites you ripped looked horrible. I don't know why anybody would want those sprites when there are ones that actually resemble the game are out there, but I do applaud the effort. Also, the sound was really low. This would have been decent had you maybe spent a little more time making it look and sound better. Also, I have to disagree with the last guy, the ending was totally obvious. I don't think it could have been any more obvious as the title pretty much gives it away, not to mention it was pretty trite.

NAMKCOR responds:

you idiot, they are from the Super Mario Bros 1985 game they aren't going to have 32 bit quality!

The world needs less stop motion people.

I'll give you some credit for style, as it really was very different from most of the crap submitted. However, the animation was not the best, no sound (Big no no) and it was insanely short. You need to work with the program that you are using. My first submission doesn't have very smooth animation either, but after that I experimented and figured out how to make the animation smoother. Also, if you're really dedicated to this, you can't just spend 6 hours and expect to be done, you have to put a lot of time into it. Anyway, like I said above, I really disagree with the last guy, the world needs less ordinary people dabbling in the arts. Anyway, keep working on your stuff, put a little more time into the next one (please put some detail in characters and backrounds) and you should be good.

cal2jack responds:

First off, there are litterally no people here in england who do claymation...no one at all! and secondly, 6 hours isnt enough i know, but i am strapped for time, being a student. I'll do you a deal, i will take my time with the next one, all you have to do is watch it. Thanks for the review.

That was not good.

The graphics bothered me, the sound bothered me, the fight was pretty badly done, and it was just overall pointless. That's all I have to say about this.

Sharkius-Cubed responds:

Thanks for the review, kiddo!

Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Something like this really needs sound. Just tell your brother to work on adding sound and maybe adding a little story (I had no idea what was going on, but sound could have helped) and he should be good. Good luck!

AndrewM responds:

i agree, but given the pc system we where worki ng on ( 2gb hard drive, 64mb ram) and no sound sofware. he didnt have much of a choice. anyways Thanks

Poorly made.

This wasn't the worst claymation I've seen. At least the voices and plot weren't terrible/knock offs. My real beef is that a claymation should look better, it shouldn't be a bunch of poorly made clay figures on your table. Animation isn't art, it's something that you do with art, and unfortunately, too many ordinary people are dabbling into the arts, and that's just not the way it should be.

TurboJ responds:

I use those clapy figures because they are simple. No eyes, no fingers, no mouths (unless I add them on), but I'm making more advanced characters for future movies, when I'm a better animator.

Nice animation.

Lots of amateurs releasing their sad excuses for claymation, but this was pretty good. Animation was smooth, characters were original, and the idea was pretty neat too. The camera work was a little sloppy, and it would be nice to see some backrounds (Showing computers and other household items in claymations is sloppy, I think most people have forgotten that because Knox has his cartoons that way). Other then that, nice work. I would definately like to see some more claymation, just remember what I said about the backrounds;)

SoniKaoS responds:

Believe it or not, this is my only newgrounds submission without backgrounds or sets, check out my other stuff. Thanks for reviewing! :D

YAY!

It's about time Jim gets a collab. I love EWJ, it's one of my all time favorite games. The first game was perfect, with such a subtle humor, and such great and zany characters. Jim does not get the recognition he deserves. Anyway, the movies were good. Nice job on the game too. I wish I could be in on some sort of Jim collab, I could make a groooovy stop-motion (I have all the figures, and despite my poorly made first stop-motion, I have learned to animate much smoother). Anyway, great job, and thanks for giving Jim the recognition he deserves.

RicPendragon responds:

Glad you liked, we spent just over a month to get this done

hmm...well theres 1 way you could do it. do what I did, ask aload of friends if they wanna do a collab with you.
